Why does AirSW collect personal information?

AirSW will use any personal information collected from this website in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. AirSW collects information from users in a number of different ways either directly or indirectly.

New data protection laws have been announced by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – in line with the requirement, we will make changes to meet these changes in 2018.

Information collected indirectly:

Internet Protocol Addresses: Users’ Internet Protocol addresses are automatically logged by our web server. This information is used by AirSW for statistical analysis, for example, to evaluate interest in the AirSW website.

Cookies:

Cookies are pieces of information/text generated by a server and stored on a user’s hard drive. AirSW uses both temporary ’session’ cookies and permanent cookies. Temporary cookies are used to carry data through from one page to another during the switch form process. These cookies last for the duration of your connection to the site i.e. they expire when you close your browser. Permanent cookies are used to store information about which website you were referred to us from. This allows AirSW  to personalise your experience of our website based on how you found out about us. In no instance is personal data stored permanently in a cookie.

Cookies can be disabled to browse the website, however, cookies will need to be enabled in order to accurately complete the switch form process.

Information collected directly:

AirSW  processes e-mail addresses and/or other contact details or information which visitors voluntarily provide in order, for example, to receive information about our products and services. We will explain what we will use your information for on the pages where we request this information. AirSW  will not use your information in any other way or disclose it to third parties without your prior consent.

Security:

AirSW  has taken measures to ensure an adequate level of security for personal information processed via its website.

The website contains links to other sites which are completely unrelated to AirSW. This privacy statement does not apply to these sites nor are we responsible for the content and practices of these websites.

Individuals’ rights:

You have the right to access your information held about you by AirSW  and where necessary, to have it amended if it is inaccurate. Should you want access to your data, a Subject Access Request can be made in writing to hello@airsw.co.uk

If you receive information via email from AirSW, it may be confidential and / or privileged. It is for use by the addressee only. If you are not the addressee or if the email is sent to you in error, please let us know by return. In those circumstances, you may not copy the message, use its contents, disclose them to another person or retain the message or any part of it. No liability is accepted for viruses and it is your responsibility to scan any attachments.
